Seven Random/Weird KB Facts

Karen at TSSO suggested that her readers share seven random or weird facts about themselves at their blog site. I have posted stuff like this before but here are some new boring KB "facts":
  1. I am a New York City pizza bigot.. anything else is
    not really pizza.
  2. I have seen most of my dreams come true.
  3. I used to design software architectures.
  4. I love the Statue of Liberty.
  5. My grandkids give me a lot of joy.
  6. I have had a meal with my promise keeper buddy Jim almost every week for the past 16 years.
  7. I like to take long car trips.
If you'd like to share something similar then just post seven random/weird facts about yourself in a post on your blog site and let me know about it.

  4. Most of my dreams have come true, what a great thing .... Bob, this Blog and your comments on mine are filled with much wisdom,

Every week for 16 years, may I too understand a word called commitment.

  5. I share a special friendship with a brother like that. I made breakfast for him most Saturdays for 14 years. Then he changed jobs. Now we're struggling to find time to get together. We did two weeks ago for lunch. Such friendships are a gift.

What's the deal with New York pizza? I've never had any. There are places in the Seattle area with transplanted New Yorkers, but I don't know if it's "authentic". The owner of one pizzaria certainly has the accent and the attitude. Great pizza, awesome calzone. But I am a big Chicago deep dish pizza fan. My mouth was stunned the first time I went to Chicago, after years of chain pizza. Pizza is my favorite food. I think that's because when I was a kid I had pizza every year for my birthday.

I drive 100 miles a day, 500 miles a week, but that certainly isn't the same as long car trips. I like long car trips with my family. The time is coming soon when it will just be me and my wife taking those trips again. Woohoo!

I'm the creative director for a software company, so I work with a team of developers.

Sorry, this is getting long. I'll post some random/weird facts on my blog too.

  8. New York pizza? If you like your pizza with an oil slick on it.... and pizza should NEVER be folded!!!!! Or cut in long drippy triangles that leave a rainbow of oil tracks from the plate to your lap!!!!!!!

(written without any prejudice whatsoever from area code 312....)

  9. Hmmm.. I think area code 312 specializes in pizza that looks and eats like lasagna :)

  10. That's a really funny description of deep dish pizza, which I never even tasted until I was in my teens. Don't believe the hype - that's specialty pizza for Chicagoans, too.
