25 Questions Later

My Issue Profile: 56% Obama, 44% McCain

  • Truth be told, you're not really satisfied with either of the candidates.
  • You could vote for either of them. You are the typical coveted swing voter.
  • You may want to narrow yourself down to a particular set of issues in order to pick your president.
  • Or start looking at third party candidates. One of them might suit you better.
I was probably two questions away from a reversal of the percenatges.. I really wasn't sure how it would come out.

Try answering these 25 questions and let me know where you come out.. I know that you will not be as wishy washy as me :)

  1. I was the same percentage as you KB, but in the opposite direction. I was not happy with several of the answers that I would have preferred a third option. Maybe I should vote Ron Paul?

  2. Your Issue Profile: 32% Obama, 68% McCain

When it gets down to it, you tend to best match John McCain.
But he's not the perfect candidate for you, and you may not be sold on him yet.

Obama shares a good number of your views too, so you might want to give him a second look.
It all comes down to which issues matter to you the most.

  4. I got the same as you two. Do you think we will every have a third party? We need one.

  5. 96% mcCain 4% Obama. I want to know what that 4% is so I can rethink my position. Despit the poll, I can't stand McCain, but loathe Obama

  7. 84% McCain

Apparently I like him better than I thought. I would have guessed about 70% agreement. Maybe it's more indicative of my disagreement with Obama.

  8. well for some strange reason :) they only let Americans vote in American elections!! But I got 60% Obama, 40% McCain. that surprised me actually -- Australian politics being further to the left than American (we're much more into social security etc, and there are interesting historical reasons behind the differences), I thought my fairly central position by Aussie standards would be further left by yours. Another big difference here is that we don't have a party that gets most of the Christian vote, which makes for a very different political picture.

  9. Hi Bob,

I couldn't even answer over half the questions because they were too simplistic and I didn't like either option. I guess my nuanced view of the world puts me in the Obama camp...
