Viral Misinformation

It seems like I get a viral email message forwarded to me every week. The latest message of misinformation ends saying "If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message".

Small wonder that people are so sadly and badly misinformed these days.

  1. I absolutely dislike getting this kind of thing.
Don't people understand about the viral aspect?
In spite of all that I hope you have a great week Bob and that Ann continues her road to wholeness.

  2. What amazes me is the people I get such "misinformation" from. The same ones who would denounce others for gossip in the real world, have little or no compunction about spreading unfounded rumors and outright lies on the virtual world.

  3. I get one or two of them a month. I always wonder how people can be so naive to keep passing them on?
