  2. The only thing solid and permanent is our Lord. Truly everything else is sinking sand.
Makes me wonder why I constantly put my trust in people and things that shift and only bring me down.
Great thought for the day Bob.

  3. Great post! Our church had a guest speaker who mentioned where the word "sincerity" came from. It had to do with how when sculptures, long ago, that were cracked, they would put wax in the cracks to hide the cracks. The buyer of the sculpture would later find out that this had been done because the cracks would grow and and parts of the sculpture would fall off or the whole thing would crumble. They knew that it wasn't sincere. Over time, our cracks begin to show when we rely on other things to fill our lives, rather than Jesus. He is our "sincerity".

I know that without Jesus, my life is nothing. My life would have fallen apart a long time ago if it were not for his grace and love! Jesus has to be my foundation.
