According to this article the ex-Beatle was awarded an honorary Doctor of Music degree from Yale University. Knighted by the Queen and now doctored by Yale. Give Me a Break!

  1. I will not leave my personal opinion on Paul here - cause its not very nice. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was when his daughter wore a t-shirt to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction that said in giant lettering:
    "It's About F______ Time"

because they thought he should have got one years earlier.

  2. Regardless of what you think of Paul, I do think that 50 years of experience in any field should be at least equal to a degree. Especially if you have been considered a pioneer in it for at least the last 25 of those years, and they teach classes about you in college.

  3. Missy, I guess that I am just not a big fan of honorary knights and doctors.

  4. I'm confused on how I feel. I am touched that academia can recognize experience every once in a while. What I am offended by is that these honorees accept them.

  5. "I'm A Loser" was written and sung by John, not Paul! Sheesh, that's not anything close to being a Paul song! The cartoonist is clearly out of his league...
