Phone Blogging

Got a new LG Android phone last month. Downloaded the Blogger app for it yesterday. Don't really like using the soft keyboard but I am getting used to it.

Hurt my back a few days ago so I am attempting to live without my 13 inch laptop - it is not super heavy but, with the adapter, I can feel its weight when I am carrying it to the hospital and back to the hotel.

I added this pic I took from Ann's hospital room. It is a view of Lake Michigan and some of the Northwestern campus. Wonder how it will look on the blog.

Anyone of you ever blog from your phone? Any tips for using a soft keyboard? I can use all the help I can get. :)

  1. Sorry, Bob. I'm still using a desktop Dell, a new one. With my hands, I can't deal with tiny keyboards at all. I hope other of your blogging friends can be of more help.

As for your back, I'd tell you to "get thee to a pool" for water therapy, but I know that might not be possible. I just hope and pray you're feeling better soon!

  2. Thanks for the reminder that one can blog from the phone. I was looking for a piece of paper to write down the name of a book the other day, and someone said to me, "Why don't you take a picture of it with your phone?" Duh. The phone is a lot smarter than I am.

  3. Yep, I did it from Hawaii last summer, and when ever I am uploading a picture from my Android HTC. The keyboard taked practice, turning it sideways for a larger target, small fingers, and a two fingered approach. No long posts for me when its in use.
