Sometimes we just need a do over!

  1. I agree we need a 'do over', but, how do you put the toothpaste back in the tube? All of the people that have had notices that the policies they have are no longer available. This is a tragedy for our country. Why, oh why, do we want the gov't taking care of our every need? Where is the America we grew up in, that was able to take care of itself? The only thing our gov't should be involve in, is defense. We've let them become intruders into every aspect of our lives. We need to rethink our lives. We need to have term limits, on everyone! The states should pay their own representatives, and then, if they aren't doing their jobs, fire them. The insurance companies should be able to sell across state lines, so they are competitive. I don't have the answers, but I'm sure there are some very intelligent people in our country that would know how to do it. We need God!

  2. I read this, this morning and it illustrates our conundrum!

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

  3. Thanks for the feedback Linda! My FB friends tend to agree with you! My main concern with the ACA is that folks with catastrophic coverage are having to change their policies and are incurring huge rate hikes.
