They are just as annoying to my ears with their smugness. It's only fair that conservatives have irritating commentators! ;-)karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04203594257221430139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-749955731953911627.post-21219449363640417592009-03-09T16:15:00.000-05:002009-03-09T16:15:00.000-05:00I don't see much good stuff coming from Beck, Hann...I don't see much good stuff coming from Beck, Hannity and Ingraham Matt.. I try at times to listen to them and find their rhetoric to be just a tad reminiscent of sour grapes.

I agree with you Karen that this is a diversionary tactic by Democratic leadership that is aimed at getting the attention away from them and onto the disunity in the GOP.

I don't think that unity is possible for the GOP these days. I think that this stuff will just have to eventually work itself out. Folks like David Frum (and others) will simply be discounted as disgruntled conservatives and their message will be lost as the dirge plays on.kc bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17440862813109808755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-749955731953911627.post-67636012027678892002009-03-09T13:33:00.000-05:002009-03-09T13:33:00.000-05:00Once again the double standards: "occasional" ciga...Once again the double standards: "occasional" cigarette use? Rush's drug dependency? If Rush were a democrat, papers would opine about his "disease" and hold a benefit to help him.
I was a life insurance underwriter. "Occasional" smoking is smoking.
Obama used drugs and no one cares. He smokes and no one cares. Whatever he does, no one cares.
I don't listen to Rush much, but the media is certainly painting the Republicans in an even more negative way lately.
Let's focus on what Mr. Obama is doing these days.
Or do we just want to distract from that?karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04203594257221430139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-749955731953911627.post-20458734280168006932009-03-09T13:29:00.000-05:002009-03-09T13:29:00.000-05:00Speaking as a conservative, there are plenty of ot...Speaking as a conservative, there are plenty of other commentators who I would rather listen to (Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham) who each bring their own style and way of questioning things, but in my opinion aren't as bombastic. I gave up on Rush (and Ann Coulter!) several years ago and haven't looked back.

There are far too many problems in this country -- and in the GOP -- for things to deteriorate into a shoving match between Rush and Michael Steele and a shouting match between Rush and the Administration. Having read all of the relevant remarks, I can easily see the point Rush was trying to make about the country -- he just could have done a much better job in the way he tried to make it.

Ringling Brothers is in D.C. often enough; we don't need another circus in this town.NoVA Dadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16661990626635939447noreply@blogger.com
