Twelve Random Things About Bob

I have not done a meme in a long time.. saw that my blog friend Susan, the Penless Writer, posted her answers to these questions from Second Cup of Coffee.. so I thought I would follow suit:
  1. Do you prefer even or odd numbers? Any particular reason? I have obsessive compulsive leanings and gravitate towards neat and tidy "even" numbers.

  2. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being "not at all" and 10 being Carly Simon-worthy, how vain are you? Probably 5 - I am much vainer than I think - don't ask me about trimming my mustache

  3. Among these Irish stereotypes, with which do you identify most closely? Talkative, Proud, Inquisitive, Love to party, Hot-tempered? Probably inquisitive - how about you?

  4. How lucky do you consider yourself? I have been blessed with a wonderful life! But I do feel lucky to have been born in this country to loving parents.

  5. What is the subject of your favorite post that you've written? Mostly the posts that have helped me learn about other's viewpoints. Through the patience and insight of blogging friends like Brian, Mike and so many others I feel that I have grown as a person - not that they have changed my mind

  6. Describe March weather where you live in three words. Warmer than February! I look forward to March each year in KC because it is the end of Winter and the prelude to spring.. and this year it will also be the end of the snow that still smatters the ground.

  7. How apt are you at detecting blarney when you hear it? (Smooth talk, flattery)
I am pretty believing at first but over time I can spot smoke.

  8. How "green" are you, environmentally speaking? On a 1-10 scale? Probably a 6 or 7. I am more of a conservationist than an environmentalist. Don't think I would buy a hybrid - especially if it was more expensive.

  9. What is your favorite song this week? I listened to the Phantom of the Opera finale yesterday on my van's CD player.. not sure that qualifies as a favorite.. I have been humming a few worship songs this week.

  10. You are walking along and see a coin on the ground. What denomination does it have to be before you will stop to pick it up? Probably a nickel but I can't remember the last time I picked up loose change though.

  11. Complete the sentence: "Every time I look outside my window ...."
Lately I have been wishing for better weather.

  12. What was the #1 song on the day you were born? See this site to find out.
(Ghost) Riders in the Sky: A Cowboy Legend - Vaughn Monroe
