ReplyDeleteThe casting director of this movie was Jewish. Of course the studio picked Jimmy Stewart for the main role, but all of the other wonderful characters were picked by a Jewish casting director! It's funny when you think about it.
ReplyDeleteThe casting director has long since passed, but I am friends with his son, another remarkably creative and closely attentive person. The son has great pictures from his dad's RKO days. By the way, the casting director of "It's a Wonderful Llfe" was also the casting director of "Citizen Kane."
