10 Most Redeeming Films

Here is Christianty Today's list of the 10 most redeeming films of 2007:

  1. Into Great Silence
  2. Lars and the Real Girl
  3. Juno
  4. Amazing Grace
  5. Bella
  6. Into the Wild
  7. The Kite Runner
  8. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
  9. Ratatouille
  10. Freedom Writers

I saw #4 and #10 and agree with their inclusion on this list. Have you seen any of the others and do you think that they deserve to be on this redeeming list?

  1. I think the redemption of the critic, Anton Ego, in the end of Ratatouille was one of my favorite animated moments.

  2. I saw the Kite Runner last night, and would rank it up amongst my short list of all time best films. It's full of issues like unconditional love, courage vs cowardice and the willingness to go back and make right what you did wrongly before

  3. Rattaotulli is a redemptive film? Who knew.

I have only seen Amazing Grace but several of these others are on my list.

  4. 'I Am Legend' should be on the list (not appropriate for younger or sensitive viewers - the special effects guys got a little carried away, so there are some creepy visuals. But this movie is all about the gospel.) And the movie 'Trade.'
